I'm not sure if I've ever mentioned on this blog how much I love crafting. Really, if my life had gone another direction, I would have loved to have been a costume designer for movies (or an archaeologist...but that is a whole other post).
I've just gotten back into the sewing habit by opening a store on Etsy called Wee Southern Gentlemen. I'm making classic neckties for little boys. I was inspired by the fact that my neighbor, who is an AMAZING photographer, seemed to have TONS of props for little girls, but not very many for little boys. I'm just getting started and slowly photographing my items to sell, but have already had several sales just from word of mouth! I'm so excited.
Anyway, while I am new to Etsy selling, I am NOT new to Etsy shopping. I laughed to myself the other day after realizing that while I have been buying on eBay for 10 years, I have been on Etsy for only 2 and have half as many feedback ratings already ;0)
That is why I am so very excited that the people at CraftGossip.com, are hosting a "Win Your Etsy Wishlist" giveaway!
I suddenly feel like a little kid at Christmas! If I had $100 to only spend on Etsy...what goodies would I get?
My all-time lust-for item is this Petra Collection Gold Vermeil Amethyst Ring. Sadly, it is above the limit for this giveaway...but I'm gonna post it anyway because it is so pretty and I like to look at it ;0)
Here is another item that I've had on my Favorites list forever in some form or fashion. I love to cook and love pretty cooking oriented things. DBabcock makes the prettiest aqua salt pigs. Perfect for sitting on your counter.
My absolute favorite one that she makes has a little curlique on top...but she isn't offering one of those in her shop right now.
Keeping with the aqua theme, my next lovely favorite (from Julie's Adorabowls ) reminds me of the sea glass I found on our vacation last year to the Outer Banks. The breeze...the sand...watching my kids playing in the tide pools...
Next, I'd go for something practical...like this Busy Mom Organizer from Monkey Cheeks. I'm really into couponing these days, and my coupons are always in a plastic Ziplock...which usually leads to coupons flying all over the place and me running down the aisles to catch up with them. This would keep all my coupons, cell phone, and shopping list all together in one place.

Hmmm, what else?...for my crafting stash. These beautiful millinery flowers. I love making little girly things for my girls and these have always been on my To Buy list. This is from Sugar Pink Boutique.
Then there is this paper fringe, also by Sugar Pink Boutique. I've used this at the bottom of painted banners and around birthday party decorations and it is one of my favorite crafting supplies. I was sad when I ran out...and this color is so bright and cheerful.
Lastly, from Gathering Splendor comes this awesome French seam binding. So many uses...gift wrapping, crafts, home decorating, ribbon embroidery...love!
I hope you enjoyed a peek into my Etsy wishlist. Thanks to CraftGossip.com for this awesome opportunity...
