100 Days until Christmas!

I can't believe that it is only 100 days until Christmas! Last year I all but missed Christmas because of walking pneumonia and bronchitis...so I'm doubly excited about this year. I'm praying that this year will be so much better. It is pretty sad to sit in Urgent Care by yourself on the day after Christmas while your whole family is in Chattanooga celebrating. I felt so bad after my shots that I just sat in a corner and sobbed while I waited for my prescriptions to be filled. I was pretty pathetic!

Surprisingly, I've gotten a nice start on my shopping already. I always run out of ideas once the pressure is on, so this year, I've purchased things as the inspiration hit me.

My big problem this year is going to be getting ideas for my kids. With the economy the way it is and when I look around and see the mountains of toys that are rarely played with...I have no desire to go out and purchase more.

Sooo, this year I am trying to focus more on the experiences. Our Polar Express tickets are already purchased. My husband is hooking me up with a trip to the Southern Lady Celebration
and the girls are super excited to be meeting a new cousin who is due on Christmas Eve.
