I can not believe that I am actually in the planning stages of our girls' very first trip to Disney World! First of all it is hard for me to believe that everyone is actually old enough to go. We always said that everyone had to be potty trained, and now that we are officially are out of the diaper years, it is time to get crackin'!
Honestly, I'm a little overwhelmed by all of the info out there. Three tiers of accommodation choices, multiple dining plans, numbers of days of tickets, hopper pass or no...it has been a bit of a confusing process.
The littlest one is so excited already. One of our potty training motivators was that we couldn't go until she went poo-poo in the potty. Now that we have success, every time that she goes, she pulls up her big girl panties, flushes, washes her hands...and then says, "Let's go see Mickey!" Poor kid...now every morning she wakes up thinking THIS is the day.
My poor husband is also in for a bit of a shock, I think, because he doesn't fully realize the extent of my evil plan to go "all out" on this trip. He is such a cruise-lover that now that I have him locked into Disney, I need to make the most of it. Plus, the Princess is 7 now. In a few years, she will be totally out of the "everything is magic" stage...one more reason to do it "right". Princess makeovers at Bibbity Boppity Boutique, breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table, and matching personalized Mickey Mouse ears for the WHOLE family...LOL!
Anyway...I'm so excited, and the girls are excited, too. Now to find the perfect tutorial on how to make handmade Autograph books. I think those might make a fabulous Christmas gift.
